Portrait Aletha R Wright

I created this mosaic portrait to be featured in the waiting room of the Camden County Social Services facility in Cherry Hill, NJ. This was a memorial to a well-loved woman, Aletha R. Wright, who made a lasting contribution to the lives of many. Although she passed away about 30 years ago, her legacy lives on.

The mosaic tessarae is stone which has been sealed with a color enhancing sealant to bring out the integral beauty of the material. Prominently displayed within the facility waiting room, the portrait is accompanied in the ante chamber by high resolution images of mosaics from a building named after Aletha Wrigth which was formerly occupied by Camden County Social Services.
